Refund Policy: All registration fees are non-refundable. This race, in accordance with management executives, city officials and local law enforcement has the authority to cancel any of the events for emergency purposes such as, but not limited to, inclement weather, a pandemic, or threat of terrorism. If such emergency conditions force cancellation, refunds cannot be provided.
Yes, you can always switch race distances if there is still capacity in the event you are looking to switch into. Please email info@rungoldengate.com and we will make the switch for you. The final deadline to make race distance changes before the event is October 25, 2024.

Switching from a longer distance to a shorter distance: There is no fee to switch to a shorter distance. There are no refunds for the difference in price between the two distances.

Switching from a shorter distance to a longer distance: Please provide the 3-digit code on the back of the card you used to register with to pay the difference in fee from the shorter distance to the current cost of the longer distance. Note — we do not have access to the rest of your credit card information. If you do not want to use that same card, you'll need to pay in person at the Race Expo OR on race morning if you prepaid for the Race Day Pick up option.
Any requests to change distances after the October 25, 2024, deadline must be at the Solutions table at the Race Expo for an administrative charge plus any additional price difference for longer distances. You must run the race for which you are registered for, or you may be disqualified.

Race Extras can be selected during registration. If you did not purchase at the time of registration, log into your MyEvents.ACTIVE.com account, find your race entry, and click the “Purchase merchandise” button to add Race Extras to your registration.
Defer Your Entry: You may defer your entry to the 2025 event. Deferrals must be processed by the registration team and an administration fee of 50% of the 2025 registration fee will be charged. You will pay this fee when you register for the 2025 race. The deferral will expire after the 2025 event, and you will not be able to defer your registration again. Deferrals must be requested by emailing info@rungoldengate.com prior to October 20, 2024.
