Participants in the half marathon and 5K are required to pick up their race packets at the Race Expo, which is free and open to the public.
Participants will pick-up their race bib, event shirt, race tote bag, and other goodies, including an exclusive runner discount at Sports Basement.
Receive an exclusive in-store discount with proof of your bib at checkout!
Basementeers receive 20% off, and Non-Basementeers receive 11% off purchases! Stock up on all your running needs.

The Race Expo is FREE and open to the public.

RACE MORNING PACKET PICK-UP
For half marathon and 5K participants, if you are unable to attend the Race Expo you may purchase Race Day Packet Pick-up and pick up your items on race morning in Aquatic Park close to the Finish Line.

You can purchase this upgrade during registration for $28.

2026 PARKING AT THE RACE EXPO
There is plenty of parking at Stonestown Galleria. If getting dropped off (Waymo, Uber & Lyft), use the designated mall drop-off at the Main East Mall Entrance on 20th Ave. and walk through the Galleria to get to the Sports Basement store entrance.

In order to expedite the pick-up of your race bib, please bring your ID and QR code confirmation email. QR code emails will be sent the Wednesday of race week
If you are unable to attend the Race Expo, you may send a proxy to pick up your race packet on your behalf. You must have signed the event’s digital liability waivers when registering for the event. To verify if you’ve signed your waivers, please visit your ACTIVE MyEvents account and locate your Golden Gate Half Marathon & 5K entry. If you have not signed your waiver yet, you will see a large red error message that your waivers have not yet been signed.
Please send your proxy with a copy of your driver’s license (digital picture is OK) and your QR code confirmation email to expedite the pick-up process. Confirmation emails will be sent the Wednesday of race week. Proxies may only pick-up packets for up to 3 people.
