DATES & TIMES
Participants in the half marathon and 5K are required to pick up their race packets at the Race Expo, which is free and open to the public.
Participants will pick-up their race bib, event shirt, race tote bag, and other goodies including an exclusive runner discount at Sports Basement.

RACE EXPO
While picking up your race packet, participants can also enjoy the Race Expo at Sports Basement, Presidio. (610 Old Old Mason St, San Francisco, CA 94129)
The Race Expo is FREE and open to the public.
Shop the event merchandise store, visit with local vendors, check out the latest in the active lifestyle space, and take advantage of our photo opportunities.

RACE MORNING PACKET PICK-UP
For half marathon and 5K participants, if you are unable to attend the Race Expo you may purchase Race Day Packet Pick-up and pick up your items on race morning in Aquatic Park close to the Finish Line.
You can purchase this upgrade during registration for $28.

Visit your ACTIVE MyEvents account, find your Golden Gate Half Marathon & 5K entry, click “Purchase merchandise”, and add Race Day Pick-Up to your entry.
2025 PARKING AT THE RACE EXPO
Parking is extremely limited due to new construction. Please consider carpooling or taking public transportation. Parking at Sports Basement Presidio is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Please plan to park at one of the lots listed below for the Packet Pickup/Expo.
Ride-shares: We highly suggested requesting a ride-share or carpool to the expo, given the extent of the impacted parking we expect to see in the Presidio.

Please note that all parking rates are set by lot operators, not the race organizers or Sports Basement.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
30 bus line has a stop conveniently in front of Sports Basement Presidio. You can use the Trip Planner to find the correct public transportation plan for your trip to the Race Expo.
Coming from Downtown SF? Take the Presidio Go Shuttle Downtown Route to connect from Downtown to the Presidio Transit Center for free in only 25 minutes. Pick-ups are available near the Salesforce Transit Center, Embarcadero BART, and Van Ness/Union Street.

In order to expedite the pick-up of your race bib, please bring your ID and QR code confirmation email. QR code emails will be sent the Wednesday of race week
If you are unable to attend the Race Expo, you may send a proxy to pick up your race packet on your behalf. You must have signed the event’s digital liability waivers when registering for the event. To verify if you’ve signed your waivers, please visit your ACTIVE MyEvents account and locate your Golden Gate Half Marathon & 5K entry. If you have not signed your waiver yet, you will see a large red error message that your waivers have not yet been signed.
Please send your proxy with a copy of your driver’s license (digital picture is OK) and your QR code confirmation email to expedite the pick-up process. Confirmation emails will be sent the Wednesday of race week. Proxies may only pick-up packets for up to 3 people.
